Gary Jack Willis (1944-2011)

Gary Jack Willis (1944-2011), aged 66, of Pawhuska died on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at his home in Pawhuska.  Gary Jack, or GJ as many knew him, was born in Pawhuska, December 10, 1944 and was a member of the Pawhuska High School graduating class of 1963.  Gary is survived by his son Matthew Warren Willis of Bartlesville, daughters Meghan Kathleen Willis Norton of Edmond, Oklahoma and Laura Ellen Willis Coulter of Bartlesville.  Gary participated in dancing classes, band, baseball and football as he attened Pawhuska High School.  After graduation from PHS, Gary Jack attended college in Stillwater at Oklahoma State and then at Phillips University in Enid, where in, 1967, he met his wife, Kathleen "Kathy" Lumen Willis.  Gary was the son of Jack Warren and Dennie Elnora Butler Willis, both of whom preceded him in death.  His aunts Violet Beatrice Willis and Daisy Irene Willis, well known in Pawhuska, also preceded him in death.  Gary will be missed by his relatives, friends and surviving members of the PHS class of 1963.
